Surgery

Surgery is considered only after all non-operative means have been considered and/or tried. Some procedures can be preformed as an outpatient, same day discharge basis, while other procedures require admission to the hospital. Each operation has different requirements. Most operations require medical clearance from your general physician and basic blood test, an EKG or chest X Rays, depending on age or pre-existing medical problems.
